During the initial release of the Generation 5 Pokemon Games it was shown that these games had some more massive version differences that I have seen in years prior, while this does entice buyers and players of all kind to either buy both versions or trade constantly with someone with the other version it also presents the opportunity to have some version exclusive locations which this games do and do it in style.
Presenting Opelucid City!

As one can see the top image (Black 2) and the bottom image (White 2) are vastly different in the way they are presented but also in the way they sound!
Well yes this is a lot of work to put into a children’s game, let me remind you that when it comes to making immersive games and games that are from of the WORLD’S LEADING COMPANIES it is important to make an effort and while in modern times that hasn’t always been the case. Regardless of what modern Pokemon does now, It is always important to have something that stands out and while this generation is very much a black and white sheep (get what I did there) in the family of games for a while it did set a new goalpost for the franchise in version exclusives.
Pokemon has always been a game that relies on the idea of trading and playing with friends, this whole aspect of having two different songs for two cities is something that falls directly in line with this ideology that the games have had for at least 20 years. While there is only so much that can be said with regards to Opelucid City, the games for this generation have many version exclusive items and places with Black City and White Forest being a huge representative alongside Opelucid City, That being said there is not much that can be said that I had already said in my Driftveil City blog post. With That I have been Anthony and thank you for reading.
