In May of this year, a new TV show came out that’s part of the Jurassic Park franchise. That show is Jurassic World: Chaos Theory The thing about this show is that it’s a sequel to a previous show Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous which came out in 2020. When I first the trailer for this show I already was hooked and the thing is I didn’t know anything about this show or that it was a sequel to a previous show all I remember was being left with questions and just shocked because of how the trailer was put together. I started researching to see what the show was about and I eventually found it that it was a sequel and that this show was going to pick off from where it left off in the original show. Off I was to start binging the original show so that I could have all the context I needed before I started watching Chaos Theory. At first glance I thought the show was for kids because of how the show looked, but as everyone says “Never judge a book by its cover” and man was I wrong about that show being a kid’s show. This TV show was filled with tension, drama, high stakes, and so much more, but we aren’t here to talk about Camp Cretaceous. All I can say is that the show really shatters my exceptions of what I thought the show was going to be about and all I can say is that I enjoyed that show a lot maybe I’ll talk about it in a future post, but now let’s talk about Chaos Theory.

Chaos Theory Surprised Me
I won’t be talking about spoilers in this post just giving a tiny summary and my thoughts of the first season. The show starts with the main character Darius living his life after the events of Camp Cretaceous and the others who were with him during the events. Sadly though one of the characters is killed off and Darius blames himself for the death of their friend. Suddenly he and his friends who survive the tragic events of Jurassic World are now being hunted down by someone. They don’t know who, but all they know is that their friend’s death was an accident, but a planned murder so now Darius and his friends have to get back together and settle their differences with old friends, and get to the bottom of who would want them dead. Overall, I enjoyed the first season of Chaos Theory it’s exciting, there’s mystery, tension, drama and so much more. The story being told here is a bit more mature if you want to say that, but I enjoyed my time watching the show. I can’t wait to watch season 2 its already out, but I’m watching the whole series with my partner and they only have one season left until we can get to the new season. Until then all I can do is speculate what season 2 is about and what can happen until me and my partner get to it. I highly recommend if you are a big fan of dinosaurs and need a new show to watch give Camp Cretaceousand Chaos Theory a chance it may look like a kid’s show, but trust me it’s no kid’s show.
