Carrying along with the theme of Manga meets Comics, We have One Punch Man:

Now we have someone who is literally wearing a Batman style outfit, The cape, boots, gloves and the belt (not a utility belt btw) and it is very clear that this series has a similar premise as My Hero Academia, HOWEVER. They are not the same in the slightest.
While in MHA (My Hero Academia abbreviated) Izuku is aiming to become the No 1 hero like All Might, In OPM (One Punch Man abbreviated) Saitama the main character already is the STRONGEST person. Not the number 1 hero but to my knowledge he is the strongest (Last we see Saitama in Chapter 194).

You see while in MHA everyone saw the heroes as these saviors of Japan, Saitama kinda just sees it as a hobby, Sometimes, See he’s already the strongest and therefore in the series we have yet to see him actually try and while I do admit it makes for some greatly funny stories it does not have that same sense of hard work. Now don’t get me wrong he worked hard to get his strength so hard in fact he lost all his hair, what I mean is that since we don’t see him struggle there seems to be no stakes for him, for the other heroes around him, yes tons of stakes and even death, for Saitama though? Nothing.

In the image we have the view of when he was training and at that present point in which he had already become OPM.
Now he is more or less the equivalent of a Superman Variant that has unlimited power (Superman already has depending on who’s writing him) and while yeah OPM is a Parody manga it still is funny to see the world of Manga take the image that Western comic has with their constantly raising stakes to the point in which they fight GOD.
See in chapter 194 Saitama and Blast the no 1 hero in this universe go to check out a Ninja village for any clues on how to open the Rock Door Of Heaven which is a door that leads to the dimension where God lives.

See, In this manga the stakes have gotten so high that our main characters must prepare to fight a primordial being. We see this happening in stories from Marvel and DC with Characters like Anti-Monitor (DC) and Galactcus (Marvel).
All in all the Manga is a great read with many amazing illustrations by Yusuke Murata and I highly recommend it, As always please read it via the Viz Media links linked in all the images. I have been Anthony!
