I’m sure we all remember back in 2012 when the world first heard Gangnam style and watched as it took the world by storm.
You see this dance is widely known as probably a fond memory from a time when we were kids or teenagers or whatever you wanna put it we almost all know this song as being the one with the funny dance that we’ve all done at some point in our lives!
At the time I did not know that this would classify as K-pop in fact I had never heard of anything about Korean anything until PSY came along and dropped this song. While we may have some fond memories of this song in our childhood as being a sort of sneak peak into what Kpop could possibly offer us.
While he did release more music not many did the same rounds as Gangnam style did, One being the song Gentleman:
While it was a good hit, it just did not have the same impact as Gangnam style and that may have to be simply due to Gangnam style being too much of a hit or that by the time Gentleman released Gangnam style was on it’s way out as a trend. Regardless, PSY had for sure acquired a good amount of listeners from his hit wonder and is till performing to this day which good on him!
