Dances have been around for ages, and as time has passed, dances have evolved. There are different types of dancing methods and dancing is one of those things that anyone can do. Sure, others dedicate their lives to making dancing their career, but it doesn’t mean you can’t go on the dance floor. Dancing is more about letting yourself get loose and expressing yourself in a dancing way. Now we are at the point where everyone uses social media kids, adults, and even elderly people. The rise of social media also brings something along with it, which is “Viral”.
TikTok has made lots of people go viral in just months but also made dances go viral. I remember back then when Tiktok was blowing up there would be a new popular dance every week. Because of that many people got famous for it. I think that’s why dances go viral in the first place. With so many kids being influenced so easily that when they see a creator make this new dance move and see that it goes viral and makes the creator famous they try to do something thing. Now I’m not saying every kid is trying to do some kids probably do it cause it’s fun and they just want to follow a trend and do it with their friends.
Dance moves are still popular on TikTok and even on YouTube where some music artists will release a music video with a new dance and that will become the new viral dance until the next one is created. I’ve never participated in any of these dance trends I love dancing a little bit, but usually I just like watching other people dance. Overall the reason why these dances become popular is because of us and social media, but when you think about when you come across that new dance video on TikTok that no one has seen before, you decide to watch it till the end then you help the algorithm push that video to more people thus leading it to becoming viral. So if you ever feel like just recording yourself and your friends dancing and doing wacky stuff and decide to upload that to TikTok or Youtube then there could be a chance that you may have made the next viral dance move
